Still Life: Hong Kong's Picnic Tables
The collection of picnic tables works depict commonplace objects that may be natural or man-made. An open book, a lantern, a mop or some fruits are sumptuously staged on the country park’s concrete picnic tables. The Golden Age’s elegant, daily life subjects are portrayed alongside today’s fish balls, bok choy and paper napkins. They all become part of an opulent composition.
